The 2023 Pine City Athletic Hall of Fame induction will take place on Saturday, October 7th at the Pine City Country Club. The Pine City Athletic Hall of Fame committee is honored to announce our group that will be inducted. The inductees for the Pine City Athletic HOF Class of 2023 are: Bill Nelson, 1964 Football 1961-63 Three Letters All Conference 1963 Basketball 1961-64 Two Letters Baseball 1962-64 State Tournament Team 1962 Three Letters Brenda (Schuler) Kloeckl, 1983 3 Sport Athlete: tennis, basketball and softball Female Athlete of the Year for Pine City 1983 4th place state doubles 3 time state tennis participant for doubles State participant for team tennis President of the Dragon Letterman’s Club All-Conference softball 20+ years coaching for Pine City Girls’ Tennis 2 time Section Assistant Coach of the Year 8 years 8th grade girls basketball coach Nick Cummings, 2012 Football Senior Captain Conference champion football team for 2011 and 2012 2011: All Conference award (football) Special Teams Award (football) Track 2012 State Champion relay team 4x100 (Mike H, Jordan P, Nick C, Adam O) 2012 2nd state for 4x200 relay (Mike H, Jordan P, Nick C, Adam O) Perseverance Award, Senior Athletic Award, MVP, Bill Harder Sportsmanship Award Long jump, triple jump, 400m record for Track and Field The agenda for the evening: A social at 5:30 pm and dinner to follow at 6:30 pm. Introducing Jaci Miller: I’m a Pine City grad who is excited to back to teach in Pine City. I also graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead and University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I taught for the last 18 years in Las Vegas, Fargo and Forest Lake. I am a foster parent with 1 adopted son. I have 2 little ones that I’m also hoping to adopt. I have 2 dogs, London and Campbell. I have tractors, like to ride 4 wheeler, go shopping, and hang out with the kids.

Tomorrow is the last day for Chromebook pick up before Open House (August 30 from 4:30 - 8:00). Hours for tomorrow (August 23) are from 8:00 - 12:00 & 4:00 - 6:00. A parent signature is required. There are no fees to be collected. Printed copies of the form will be available or can be downloaded using the link below.
