Dragon Families received communications this week regarding MCA testing dates for the 2025-26 school year.
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) provide valuable information about student learning and help guide instruction, support, and planning at both the school and district levels.
MCAs:
Help identify areas where students may need additional support
Provide one measure of college and career readiness
Support school and district goal-setting
Are required by the State of Minnesota
In some cases, MCA results may also help students avoid non-credit developmental coursework after high school.
Here are the Spring Testing Dates for the high school:
April 14 – MCA Math (Grades 7, 8, and 11)
April 16 – MCA Reading (Grades 7, 8, and 10)
May 5–6 – MCA Science (Grade 8 and High School Biology)
Here are the Spring Testing Dates for the elementary school:
April 14–16 – Reading (Grades 3–6)
April 21–23 – Math (Grades 3–6)
April 28–29 – Science (Grade 5)
