February is I Love to Read Month!
Here at Pine City Elementary School, we encourage our students to read their hearts out - and even reward their hard work with some fun events and prizes!
Recording Sheets
At the beginning of February, each PCES student will be sent home with a recording sheet that they fill out every time they read a book! Students can then bring their filled out recording sheet back to school and turn it in to be entered for some prizes!
Dress Up Days
Throughout the Month of February, there will also be some dress up Days!
Friday, Feb 6th - Surf's Up for Reading
Thursday, Feb 12th - Reading in Red
Friday, Feb 20th - Snuggle Up and Read
Thursday, Feb 26th - Dragon's Read
Book Fair
Pine City Elementary is once again hosting a Book Fair in the Elementary Media Center during the Parent/Teacher Conferences on February 24th from 3-6:30pm and February 26th from 4:30-8:00pm.
