The Pine City High School building will be closed for all indoor activities next week on June 16th, 17th and 18th between 6am and 3pm. The school district is working with the Pine County Sheriff’s Office for a training session that will be held within the building during that time. There will likely be a number of emergency vehicles in and around the facility during this time.
Events normally held inside the building during this time have been relocated to alternative district facilities during these three days. Carrie Staples, Food Service Director, noted that the daily lunch service at the high school will still be available. “Weather permitting, the summer meals will be available to eat outside at the jr/sr high school from 11am - Noon on June 16, 17 & 18.” Students should look for the school minivan parked near the main entrance with meals served from the van.
The school district will also observe the June 19th federal holiday next week and all school district facilities will be closed that day. No summer meal service is available.
