When your child turns 3 years old, they are eligible to attend early childhood screening. Each child needs to be screened before entering Kindergarten. If you need to schedule an appointment, please call 629-4277.

What to expect at screening:

• You and your child will enter at door number 5. Please push the button to be let in the building

• This process should take about an hour

• Your child will be weighed and measured

• The guardian will be handed paperwork to fill out during the screening

• The child will get hearing and vision checked

• Your child will go with a staff member who is trained to complete the Developmental portion of the screening

• Time at the end of the screening to discuss results with a staff member

• Your child will receive a book for attending
